Hello! I've seen another forum post about this issue:  https://groups.google.com/g/ywriter/c/5asEd4EigjI

However, and I don't know if I just dodn't notice it before, this is happening. The image explains it better than I could!

Is there a way for the issue of cutting off buttons be solved? Here are my specs if needed:ui bug compatibility.pngDisplay resolution: 2800 x 1800 (recommended)

Font size: 100 (recommended)

200% is very large scale.  I would recommend setting the font inside yWriter to something like 8 or 9 point and see if that helps.

Got it! how can I change that? on windows, it only ever gives me the option to change font to 100, like this:

100%.png

Also, just for fun, here's my display settings at 100%. Completely unreadable! next time I buy a PC I'll check if the screen has a crazy resolution... this new laptop is smaller than my old one but because of the pixel resolution this happens X_X Ahh, I didn't need 2800 x 1800! if only I had checked! LOL... I wonder why they made 200% to be the default?

Yes, windows scaling isn't the best, even after all these years.

I would try 125% or 150% - those should work. You can also try increasing the font size in Windows settings.

If that's still an issue, you can possibly try the other thing I mentioned, which is reducing the yWriter UI font size inside the program.

You can also right-click yWriter7.exe, choose Properties and play with the scaling options in there.
