Hi,

you can send two kind of "information" through xbees....

First one, the simpler, any kind of data, in form of text, through the serial port of one xbee to the serial port of the other xbee.

Second one, non simple but more customizable, you can use the analog pins of xbee, via internal ADC converter, to read analog signals (tensions or, by shunt resistors, currents). In this mode you can read the inputs when you want by transmit a "read command" from the master xbee to the remote one. Or you can programme the remote xbee to send to the master readings over a specified interval.

I hope this is useful for you...

Best,

Matt

dear,

I have just bought, and configured my XBEE S2 modules, i need to transmit ECG signal form one end to another via the XBEEs...Please how do i go about it?..i only observed that i can send ''text'' and not neccessarily signals on the terminal tab of thee XBEEs.

Also, what  signal format is allowed for transmission of signals with XBEE.

Thank you very much

bimb

remember for reading adc pins that you should reduce your input signals to 0-3.3 V max
