What a fantastic turnout for our annual event! Our hall was full to capacity, and our dancers had so much fun! New people attending from Timmins, Manitoulin Island, North Bay area, and our locals, along with those who have been supporting us for years! Thank you so much to all who attended, because without you, it wouldn’t be a success!
A huge “Thank You!” to Joe and Beth Arnold for supplying their DJ equipment, and for teaching/leading as well. A ginormous “Thank You!” to Zandra McCallum for inspiring and joking around with all the participants, making the atmosphere light and fun! Marthe Thibeault – she kept the audience in stitches when teaching her dances – kudos and Thank You!
New people on the executive – Jeanine Morin and Johanne Ramsay – experienced their first time having to help out at the event. If you see them, ask how tired they were at the end of the evening (lol!)!!
We currently do not have an amount for donation to our local Blue Door Soup Kitchen, who relying strictly on donations to function, but when we do, we will certainly share the information.
We will be announcing the date of next year’s event soon, and will have it posted. Hoping more of our Ontario dancers can join us!
Keep on Dancing! Carol (Howe) Larocque 705-665-1399 (cell)

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
