World Dance Showdown 2026 opens August 27 at the Century Center in South Bend, Indiana and features new and exciting activities to inspire and challenge dancers. This includes
150+ line and couples dance workshops
Multiple Dance Ballrooms open until 3 am.
Competitions for line dancers, couples, dance teams and choreographers.
New this year: Christian, Soul and Hip Hop Line Dance Choreography competition in addition to Beginner/Improver, Intermediate/Advanced and Phrased line dance choreography.
Line and Couples dance competitions
World Dance Instructor Spotlight and Challenge.
Dance Hall Dance Off for groups
Duo, Trio, Quad and large dance teams.
International Choreographers send a video and step sheet to enter competitions.
-- Subject: Michigan Summer Line Dance Workshop, June 6th, Sawyer MI ANNOUNCING OUR UPCOMING SUMMER WORKSHOP 🤠 Come join us for a day filled with line dancing to kick off summer, hosted by the Sunset Coast Country Dancers at the Section House in Sawyer, Michigan! We are excited to host another line dance workshop at the Section House in Sawyer, Michigan! Your very own Sunset Coast Country Dancers instructors as well as Chris & Teri of Michiana Country Kickers will be teaching you new line dances all afternoon long. We will have both a beginner level room and an intermediate level room -- whether you're new to line dancing or have been dancing for a while now, there will be something for everyone! In the evening, DJ Bigg Sexxy Robb will join us to keep the party going for our social dance night! Workshop will be held from 12PM - 5:30PM in the afternoon, followed by a dinner break before the social dance night kicks off from 7:30PM - 11PM. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to help facilitate easy check in on the day of, however walk-ins will be welcome.
