NOTE FROM ME: Today is a short newsletter because I have so much catching up to do after being away for the weekend. I hope some of you will send me your reports of what you enjoyed the most about the event (s) and the highlights of the weekend for you (to tka...@aol.com) and let me know if I can share them on the group page as well as the email newsletter. There was so much going on and I didn't attend the pre-party or the after-party so I can't tell you about those but I heard all good fun things so I hope you enjoyed them. There were so many classes and so many instructors that I know one person couldn't do everything but have fun. Stacy has asked below for your favorites from Sunshine 'N Line and also the NW Line Dance Blast so I'm sure she will be sharing the results with all of us so be sure and send them to her. Two big events going on last weekend. Some of the quick highlights for me at Sunshine 'N Line was seeing so many instructors there with their kids. Shane's daughter performed with him in the Saturday Show and she was awesome and so poised and professional for such a little girl. Roy's baby was so cute as part of the Friday show as well. Maddison was there with her husband and baby and it was so nice meeting both of them and the Kellys had their darling little girl helping them all weekend. Brandon Zahorsky was there with his beautiful wife and two girls and they were having fun just being there. Rachael always finds time to bring her boys and introduce them to everyone and it has been so much fun just watching them grow and thrive. I hope everyone's kids grow up to be regulars at all the events. I watched Jo Thompson's daughter perform in the couples competition with Shane and she was awesome. What a thrill it must be to see your kids wanting to travel and be with you as they grow up. You can still see the entire schedule at SunshineNLine.com as well as the schedule to see all the things going on. Many of you got the live feed (and I think you can still order it) and many people shared videos from both events. I know the demos from the NW Line Dance Blast are all shared on THE WORLD LINE DANCE NEWSLETTER Facebook Page. The demos for SNL were done via video so you could look at each day's dances the night before online. Another thing that impressed me were the number of new young dancers at this event. They were fun, very talented and very friendly and nice kids and it made me so happy to see so many of them soaking up every dance and were out there at night dancing them with ease. I am so happy that line dancing is now again mainstream on the media they follow because it is bringing a resurgence to line dance that we really needed and that they will keep going for many years. I watched all of the choreography competition and was impressed with the quality of the dances being done and know we will be seeing so many of them out there teaching and being mainstays on the circuit soon. I would like to see the list of all the winners if anyone has it to share. There is also a Country Swing Ballroom with competition in that event.

Here is the link to check out all the things going on over the weekend so you can prepare for next year at a new hotel! I will share the information when Rachael posts it. https://sunshinenline.com/

That's it for now but please send me your reports and they don't have to be long, maybe just impressions of the weekend and people you met you haven't met before or -- well, you know.

If you haven't joined the mailing list for the email newsletter or have friends who don't get it, just use or share this link so they can join. I send it about three times a week: https://groups.google.com/g/world-line-dance-newsletter

If you haven't joined THE WORLD LINE DANCE NEWSLETTER, CAROL C. CRAVEN Facebook Group, please join and share in all the photos and videos and dance things going on around the world and add your own with over 20,000 members now - and thank you very much if you are one of them!

Check out the worldlinedancenewsletter.com page that Stacy maintains and check out all the ways you can share your classes, your events, your contact information for choreographers, your merchandise you sell and so many other things.  Here's the overview of what is on the site and everything is free so use it to promote your dance activities.  https://worldlinedancenewsletter.com/site-map.html

Thanks for being a part of my world and sharing all your dance information with all of us!

Subject: Monday Int-Adv Class at District Dance Academy in Clearwater

From: Carol Craven

Remember, there is no class tonight. Next week we are changing the time to 6 pm to 8 pm. I am also going to change the format a little to do easier high improver-int dances the first part of the class to encourage some people who might like to give the class a try and then stay as long as they want for the rest of the class. Please let your friends know. I will be sending the playlist for next week tomorrow. I know there are lots of really good dancers who would enjoy learning some of the dances that maybe they don't know yet. I saw many of them this weekend in Orlando. I hope everyone had fun this past weekend whether you were dancing in Florida or Oregon because it was a busy dance weekend! See you next week at District Dance Academy 6 pm.

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey

List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it.

Reminder from Carol

Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important.
