NOTE FROM ME: Short newsletter today. I will write about the weekend later today and post it tomorrow or Wednesday. We had a great time and there were some awesome dances taught. I wish some of you would write little reports for me to share in the newsletter and include the dances you liked and the highlights of the weekend so people will know what your last event was like! There are a lot of choose from and it's a good way to give people who have never been to an event an overview of what one is like. It's also nice to let people know the people you liked to take lessons from. NOTE FROM ME: If the DJs at your event share the playlists with Stacy, she would be able to easily add them to the lists she keeps from events and she really appreciates when you do that. I think her lists are a great help for planning your next dance adventure so thank you, Stacy, for all you do!

From: PSWBc...@gmail.com
We’re thrilled to share the results of the 2026 Palm Springs Winter Break Choreography Contest — a two-round competition created to spotlight new choreography, celebrate originality, and elevate our amazing dance community. This year brought a fantastic level of participation: The contest began with a demo round, where dances were evaluated on musicality, structure, overall appeal, and presentation. From there, the top three in each division advanced to the instructional round, where finalists were judged on clarity of teaching, engagement, and delivery. ⭐ Beginner/Improver Division finalists:

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
