SUBJECT: REMINDER to vote in THE WORLD LINE DANCE NEWSLETTER SURVEY. Today is Saturday so please take a moment to vote. List up to 8 of your favorite dances using this format Dance/Choreographer/Level (if you know the choreographer and level) and email to me at tka...@aol.com by 6:30 pm Sunday (same as NY time). We had a low vote last week because lots of people were at The Marathon so we need to know what your favorites were. Eurodance is coming up this coming weekend so I'm sure there will be lots of new ones. Thanks for taking a moment to vote.
I got a note from someone saying they don't vote because they teach a beginner class so they don't think their votes count since the top 10 tend to be harder dances. If you would use the following format to include the level of the dance, I think you would be surprised to see that there are many beginner dances that people like and teach. Just give it a try for a few weeks by sending your votes using this format:
Dance/Choreographer/Level and that way when I sort the votes, the level would show as well as the dance. You could quickly search the results each week and be able to see all of the beginner or improver dances to look at or teach.
Here is last week's survey results: https://worldlinedancenewsletter.com/survey.html

Note from me: This is a really big event in the UK and everyone will be there teaching and dancing -- a lot of people form the US are going this year and Cody Flowers and Dustin Betts are both teaching and I'm not sure who else from the US is going and teaching but I want to wish everyone luck and I can't wait to watch because I bought the live feed. Let me know if you did and we can live chat! SUBJECT: Favorite dances from The Line Dance Marathon

I think the thing that struck me the most was when the choreographers explained what some of the dance steps meant to them as it pertained to the song which made the dance all that much better. Ray Okunda, Rhoda Lai, Amy Glass Bailey, and Roy & Fiona explained how certain dance steps improved and explained the songs in their eyes - made the dance all that much better and touching so you could put your heart and soul into it like they did. How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
