Please Remember to vote this week.  List up to 8 of your favorites and email them to me at tka...@aol.com by 6:30 pm each Sunday. (same as NY time).  Please  use this format:  Dance/Choreographer/Level (if you know the level).  Thanks to everyone who votes early because it saves me so much time on Sundays and thanks to everyone who takes the time to vote!

If you have friends who want to receive the email newsletter, share this link with them to ask to join and I will approve them or send an email with a request to join to tka...@aol.com and I will add them.

https://groups.google.com/g/world-line-dance-newsletter

NOTE FROM ME: I had a note from someone this week saying they don't vote because they teach a beginner class so they don't think their votes count since the top 10 tend to be harder dances. If you would use the format to include the level of the dance, I think you would be surprised to see that there are many beginner dances that people like and teach. Just give it a try for a few weeks by sending your votes using this format:

Dance/Choreographer/Level and that way when I sort the votes, the level would show as well as the dance. You could quickly search the results each week and be able to see all of the beginner or improver dances to look at or teach.

AND....

For those of you who don't know, I drowned my phone over the weekend in Raleigh so I had to get a new one. I don't like new but I'm learning to use it so if you ask me to do anything via phone and I don't answer, it's because I don't know you sent me anything. I have been busy playing catch up so it will be a few days until I learn to use, not only a new phone, but a new phone that isn't like the one I had before. I got most of my contacts back but they couldn't save everything. Note to self: make sure you enable constant backups to your data. I actually didn't miss my phone for three days, which amazed me. Give it a try sometime.

FW Virtual Line Dance Class with Fred Whitehouse. Looking for a fun way to stay active, learn something new, and enjoy dancing from the comfort of your own home? This Virtual Line Dance Class is held LIVE every Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 pm (Ireland time).
These sessions include both new dances, current floorfillers, and well-loved classics to keep things fresh and exciting! You can join live each week or simply watch the recording later at a time that suits you -- perfect if you have a busy schedule (or a time difference).
The class is taught by myself; award-winning instructor and choreographer, Fred Whitehouse. It's just £20 per month and you subscribe to a monthly membership so no need to remember each month to pay! It is also easy to unsubscribe should you need to with no complications. I send a newsletter out each week to remind you about class, with a few updates in my world and with little surveys to have your say in what gets taught!

This week we started the month with 'If This Day' by Shane McKeever and Guillaume Richard (Intermediate) and 'Teddy's Gone' by Colin Ghys and Chrystel Durand (Improver).

To sign up; simply visit liveloveline.com/whitehouse/home or if you'd prefer a hand getting started, feel free to get in touch: fredwhiteh...@gmail.com. I'm always happy to help!

Another week down, and here we are- June 2nd!
I had a blast Saturday night teaching everyone, and getting to be your guest DJ for the evening. I hope that I was able to provide something for everyone on the floor! I received a lot of positive feedback from the night, as I tried to mix things up a bit more than usual. (I'm sure I will get some complaints about the door I installed on the DJ booth, but there's really no reason for it to be a lounge, or a locker room.)
