My name is Tom “Norm” Daly, and my DJ name is DJ Norm. I’ve been dancing on the East Coast for 25 years, attending local events as well as traveling to multiple larger events throughout the years. I’ve been DJ’ing for over 15 years, with a strong background in circuit dances, beginner to improver line and partner dancing, and freestyle. My freestyle knowledge includes Two-Step, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Waltz, Cha-Cha, and more. I’ve DJ’d and worked events such as Mishnock & Friends, NYSOL, and I’ve played at many venues across New Jersey and New York—especially Line Dancing in Rockaway (which has had a few different names over the years). I’ve also worked with many big-name instructors at events and local workshops. I do instruct as well, but I feel my DJ’ing is my stronger talent. I DJ and dance every Tuesday in Hopatcong, NJ with Stompin' Sue and The Other Ones where we dance line & partner dancing from beginner to improver. For events and venues, I normally dance at (or attend throughout the year): Mishnock & Friends (twice a year), NYSOL, Windy City, Queen City, Mishnock Barn, Stardust Ballroom, Intermediate Sundays at Prospector’s, and multiple other halls and venues. If you see me out, please come up and introduce yourself. My next event I am working is Queen City. I’m a licensed DJ under ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, I’m fully insured, and I provide my own equipment.
