Hello,
We are tagging photos of deer in the "remarks" field with a "grazing" label if the deer is grazing in the photo.  This works well, but is there any way we can subset to only those that are labeled (or not labeled) with remarks information in WI so we can go back over them to check them?

Or should we label these photos in another way that will allow for subsetting and checking the cataloguing?

Thank you,
Luke

Hey Luke,

There's currently no way to filter for the labels in the Remarks field within Wildlife Insights, but you'll see these notes when you download the data. If you'd like to tag these images in a way that allows you to quickly return to them, you could use the Highlight button and then filter for highlighted images. One thing to note is that any images that are highlighted may be shown on the public Explore page.

I'd encourage you to submit a Feature Request for these filters if it's something you'd like to see in WI! While we can't build every request, it helps our team to know which requests are the most popular.

Thanks,
Nicole

This is similar to my request for custom tags from October 2021: https://groups.google.com/g/wildlifeinsights/c/kjkGm7BqAAM

I did submit a feature request after the forum discussion. Luke, I suggest you also submit a request if you haven't already so the tech team is reminded of the need for custom tags/filters.

Thanks!

Hi Darcy, Luke, and others, I've also put in a feature request for this, in case it helps. (It is a major point for our use of this platform, too!)
