I was looking for a good,
free binary clock face for my watch and decided to build one instead.
Radix is a Wear OS watch face that counts time in whatever numeral base you pick — binary through nonary (base 2–9), one app, one settings picker. Each base gets its own way of drawing digits: LEDs for binary, wedge-split circles, a chunky tile grid that fuses into a rounded blob, tally marks, WiFi-style signal bars. Optional heart rate, weather, and date complications, a light/dark theme toggle, and a colorblind-safe palette option (Okabe-Ito derived) alongside 16 named colors. Free, no phone companion app, no ads, no accounts, no analytics, no permissions requested at all.
The closed test is live.
HOW TO JOIN
4. Add Radix from your watch's face picker.
I'm looking for people who can install it and stay opted in for 14 continuous days — no active use or feedback required, though if you do poke around, I'd love to hear how the different bases read at a glance, whether the complications (heart rate/weather/date) show up correctly on your watch model, and any always-on-display quirks. No public rating, review, or reciprocal testing required.
Live browser preview (no watch needed to see how it looks):
Thanks for trying it!
