Welcome to the Wear OS App Testing Community!

Welcome to our community of volunteer Wear OS app testers and developers.
This group exists to connect people who build Wear OS apps with people who are willing to test them, so we can all ship more stable, reliable, and higher-quality apps.

Here’s how this group works:

If you are a developer requesting tests for your app:

• Add wearos-app-testing-community@googlegroups.com to your app’s Closed Testing Google Group (and optionally to the License Testing list) in Google Play Console.

• Create a new post in this group with:

  • A short description of your app

  • A link to join the test

  • What you would like testers to focus on

  • Any required promo codes, test accounts, or passwords

If you are joining tests for other apps:

• Install the app

• Open it at least once to confirm it runs

• Leave a short Google Play review

• Keep the app installed on your Wear OS device for at least 14 days

This is important for Google Play’s closed testing requirements and helps developers get their apps approved for production.

Please be respectful, provide constructive feedback, and remember that everyone here is volunteering their time to help each other.
