Hi,
I'm considering switching over from an old version of Scanimage (Sabatini lineage). I noticed the system reqs asks for X series NI DAQ boards, but I use an NI PCIe-6259. Is this a deal breaker? Or is there some workaround?

Thanks,
Danny Heinz

Sorry, WaveSurfer does not support M-series boards (62xx). You would
have to purchase an X series board if you wanted to use WaveSurfer.
But FWIW, an X series board is not very expensive relative to
everything else in a typical rig...

Hi, I'm finally getting around to setting up Wavesurfer. I have my X series DAQ board, and I found an old BNC-2090 breakout box to use with it, as the Wavesurfer manual suggests. One thing I'm noticing with this box is that it only has two analog output ports, both of which will be used as command ports for my Multiclamp 200B. What would you suggest using to drive analog stimuli for things like an LED or eStim box? Do yo suggest a second DAQ board and a second breakout box? If so, would this second DAQ board need to be X series as well? On our rigs we currently use a PCI-6733 and a BNC-2110 for this.

Thanks for all your help,
Danny
