I visited your URL & this is what I got:

#01.jpg

I downloaded the first variant on the VDH menu.  Here's my results:

#02.jpg

It played fine in VLC.  Despite what the Windows properties claimed, this was a 1920x1080 video.

#03.jpg

At first, I thought there was no audio.  But cranking my volume up to what is usually too loud finally did reveal that there was audio throughout this clip.  It was in a language I did not understand.  I'm guessing it might have been Portuguese.  In any case, this appears to be an advertisement promoting the Panda web site.

I am using Windows 7 64-bit, Firefox 104.0 64-bit, licensed VDH 7.6.3a6, CoApp 1.6.3 beta, VLC 3.0.16 Vetinari.  You should always include similar information for your system in any problem report you post here.

Before you respond to me, which you will do via Reply all, NOT Reply to author, you should read this:

It is very important that you follow the advice in that thread.  My post here contains 3 images.  You definitely DO NOT WANT to be quoting those images into your reply.  So be sure you remove the stealth quoted material before you post again.

Oops.  Minor typo.  That should read licensed VDH 7.6.3a6 beta, CoApp 1.6.3.  The extension is the beta.  There is no beta for the CoApp.

How did you download it? Maybe I'm doing something stupid but I'm trying and it doesn't work. I'm using paid version for Chrome so there are no limitations I guess...
Then I tried on firefox and looks like it works, so easy, audio ok btw, hmm, so I bought an useless license then? haha

Well, I think it's your decision to say the license you bought was useless. I'm not even
an employee of VDH & I'm saying that. I've never used Chrome so I can't evaluate it.
I've always used Firefox, even before they started calling it Firefox, going back to the
Netscape & even Mosaic days. If you bought your Chrome license within the past 3 months,
you can ask Jérôme for a refund. He does work for VDH & he can do that. But your
purchase must have been within the past 3 months. He'll be in here in a few hours &
could take care of this for you. He's in France so that's why the hours he keeps
probably don't synch up with yours. But you have to actually post a request for a
refund. In the meantime, while he's sorting that out for you, you could buy a Firefox
license now. You don't need to wait. There are plenty of people in here who have both
licenses. They are not mutually exclusive. It looks like the bottom line here is that
Chrome has a problem with Panda but like I said, I don't use Chrome so I can't even begin
to diagnose that problem. Maybe Jérôme or some kind fellow user can do that.

For some reason the chrome extension can't download it , neither can the Edge version. I think there have been cases like that before
where it fails to download or it doesn't detect the media for Chrome and Edge versions. I don't know why that would be, aren't they running
identical code to the Firefox version. In any case VDH works best in Firefox.

Ok, I did't know that for Firefox it was better. Yeah on Chrome really doesn't work.
I'm testing on Firefox, tried to download from YouTube on Firefox, says MVK and it's ok for me, but after downloading VDH keeps trying to convert it forever even when I selected just to download.
I use many browsers as Opera, Brave... but if on Firefox it works fine, I'd be ok moving the license to this one if possible.
I'll ask Jérôme about the possibility, do you guys have his contact?
I'm in Europe so maybe even same timezone )

It's not about it being MKV or MP4 or WEBM or any other file type. It's about the way
the web site presents its content. Some web sites present their multimedia content as
separate video & audio tracks. VDH downloads the 2 tracks separately. After the data
transmission completes, VDH goes into this aggregating phase in which the 2 tracks, which
are in 2 temporary files on your hard drive, are merged into a single output file. It's
normal, ordinary, not worthy of any particular attention.

Ok, I see, but for me at least, on Firefox when this aggregating starts it takes forever, I mean, 1% after an hour, so is not possible then. That's why I thought something has to be wrong or another way to download then.

I just remembered you have a Chrome license but not a Firefox license. If you're getting
this content using VDH for Firefox, then VDH writes the watermark into each individual
frame of the video during this aggregation step. That's what is taking so long. If you
have a license, VDH simply skips that step. That's what the license is for. That's all
it does, skips writing the watermark. Once you have the license, the aggregation might
take a few minutes even for a particularly large file, but it shouldn't be more than
that. If you want to buy a license for VDH for Firefox, you can go ahead & buy one.
Then you would have a license for Chrome & another one for Firefox. If you bought the
Chrome license within the past 3 months, you can ask for a refund. Since this thread is
long enough & deals with another issue, you would probably get better results if you
asked for your refund, if that's what you want to do, in a new thread. But you don't
have to wait for your refund before you buy the Firefox license. Also, buying a license
does not remove the watermark from anything you already have. You would have to download
those videos again after you register your license in the VDH settings on Firefox.
