Every video download attempt in the last year ended with ERROR. Example video: https://zonia.com/is-episode-7-live-aa537c63   Firefox, Windows Pro10 don't know the VDH and coapp version. Please help!

Nope. I can't get that one either. VDH can't get it. Several other tricks I tried
couldn't get it either. Time to give up. Some sites just don't want you to download
their content. This looks like one of them.

I should add that I do not work for VDH. I'm just another user, like you.

It did indeed look like this would be impossible when I looked at it. I remember someone posted about this a while ago that used the same

type of streaming for the video. I went searching online and found a discussion where someone had a solution.

You'll be surprised to know it's a simple trick to change the dash mpd link to .m3u8

What you have to do is open the developer tools and look for the .mpd manifest url and copy the url. Paste in notepad then change it to .m3u8

I ffprobe the url and it brought up a format selection though I didn't feel like downloading the 1 hour 11 minute video.

But it should work in ffmpeg.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that one. Good thing one of us is awake. You have to filter
the Network Monitor on mpd & it pops right up. I had looked for HLS manifests & found
none. I had found some MP4s in the Network Monitor & tried to ffprobe them, but it
generated a permission error message. So I figured it was a case like another one that
was posted here within the last couple of days. Maybe I should revisit that one. Wait.
No. That one actually had an HLS master manifest. The problem there appeared to be the
ads. Plus despite ffprobe working, ffmpeg got 403 Forbidden. Not the same.

Anyway, I did download the hour+ video here. See the attached log file. It went pretty
quick so I didn't mind. Worked like a charm. You can see the results in the attached
image. It played fine in VLC. Of course, I didn't sit & watch it, just sampled it at
1-minute intervals to make sure it was all there.

Be sure you carefully read the first 2 paragraphs there. Once you have read that, you
can check out the references within that web page that I am about to give you. But don't
just find the relevant link & click it. READ the context around the link. I recommend
you bookmark that link & read the entire page, if not now, if not in one sitting, bit by
bit over time.

You find a reference on that web page by searching the text of that page using various
search keys. The search keys I am suggesting are these:

problem report
settings dialog
stealth quote
short tutorial

Next, look for "problem report" within the text of that web page. That will give you a
link. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice. It's not good enough to just
name a web site. Help those who would help you by specifying URLs of particular web
pages on which you are finding content that you are having trouble downloading. I know
I'm not about to scrounge around on some site I've never heard of to see if maybe I can
find something that does or does not work. Make it easy for me to help you.

Next, look for "settings dialog" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that to see how to open the VDH settings dialog. On the
first page of the VDH settings, there are 4 sections. Each section is clickable. Click
each one. I think things will be self explanatory at that point. You should NEVER post
any image showing the contents of the fourth section on that page. It should be obvious
why.

Next, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice, not just for
your posts in this thread, not just for your posts in this forum, but for your posts
anywhere on Google Groups.

Next, look for "short tutorial" within the text of that web page. That explains why your
response here will use the Reply all button. It also explains why you will NOT use the
Reply to author button.

Michael for your video VDH won't work, it works in ffmpeg and perhaps youtube-dl. Here's more on how to use ffmpeg
