I take part in meetings in Teams that are recorded. Most of the time I can only watch the resulting video, but never seem to be able to download it.
After a few minutes, I get a list with an easily three-digit number of "MP4" and  "Audio only" in the Video DownloadHelper and from the thumbnails it looks like its all small parts of the Teams movie I actually want to download. The list grows and grows and grows and I cannot download the listed media quick enough, because the list of the detected media is a dropdown that vanishes each time when I clicked on an entry and I have to open the dropdown list agayin and then scroll to the next item each single time. And these items are all named the same:Recordings-OneDrive.png

This only happens on Teams recordings that are stored on someone's OneDrive (not my OneDrive, because then I would have no problem downloading the video). Is that some sort of silly measure from Microsoft to prevent a download of the meeting videos via the Download Helper? And does that mean I will never be able to download a recorded meeting via the Download Helper?

Thank ypou very much in advance!

Welcome! If you're a beginner, you might want to take a look over here:

Also, I would normally recommend you report your problem according to these ideas:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/_DmryjDe_Ck

But I suspect you're going to say these meetings are confidential, they require the use
of a user ID & password that you must not share, & you can't give out the URL of one of
these meetings for anybody else to test with. In general, there is no international
standard for the way web sites present video content. It's actually a wonder to me that
Michel has managed to get VDH to work on as many sites as it does. But I suspect rather
a lot of web sites do things intended to prevent downloaders from working. In most cases
on a site where VDH detects a large & ever increasing number of small variants, the
company line is that the web site is not presenting sufficient information for VDH to
figure out how to aggregate the pieces into a unified whole. And I'm not part of the
company. I'm just repeating what Jerome & Michel have said here numerous times. Jerome
is part of the company & Michel is the guy who designed & develops VDH. If by some
miracle it is possible to post a URL for one of these meetings & anybody can access it
without a user ID & password, that would be helpful. Do not offer to let somebody use an
ID & password. I know I will refuse such an offer because I don't want to be the one who
could be identified later as a potential security vulnerability. The company guys have
posted that it is against their policy to do so. Sadly, you're probably out of luck.

I do not want to download videos that I do not have access to, and I wouldn't be able to display them in the browser anyway ...
I just want to be able to watch videos offline.

I have no experience with One Drive but I have used Google Drive a couple of times. I
gather they are equivalent. Google Drive has a button for downloading the item that has
been shared with you. Doesn't One Drive have something similar? With Google Drive, I
download the item using the Google Drive option, not VDH. Maybe you can do something
similar. Failing that, you might look over here:

Look for the reference to an alternative technique for getting things when VDH fails to
do so, click through to that, read what's there, then decide whether that might work in
this case.
