Download Video from member only website

Hi

I tried to download video from member website (www.learnfrenchwithalexa.com) which is  I am a member of it . there are many video but couple videos that i tried to download experienced problem.

Problem are :

1. There one video that can't download a higher resoltion (got stuck on 68% then time out) but when download using low res can download 100% without problem. is there a reason why this happen ?

 

2. After finished download using VDH, the downloaded video became to fast then after several minutes video stop running while audio still play normallyo

I tried to look up some solution on the forum I found some solution but it doesn;t work on my case (problem 2 - Can't find link with mp4 )

I am using Win 10 64bit, firefox 118.0.1 (64-bit), VDH 8.0.0.6 (paid license)

If I could look at your members-only web site, I would try to apply the principles

Hi, I have tried the suggested link that you gave and still no solution. After I copy paste to notepad some of the video doesn't have .mp4 in it.

I gave you capture foto & txt file bellow.

Unfortunately that idea doesn't work anymore it seams. At the time of posting this method it would find one or more mp4 links.

Still your in luck, in the same text document there are both master.json and master.m3u8 links. They look to have expired now but earlier

I tried one of the json links and changed .json to .m3u8 and replaced \u0026 with & then I ffprobed the link.

Important: When you use Reply all delete everything after clicking show quoted text button.

2. not sure what ffprobe.txt is for

Oh ok have you used ffmpeg before ?  It also comes with ffprobe. I used ffprobe for my edited link to bring up the video and audio formats.That what the attached text file shows.

 After that you can choose what you want with ffmpeg.

Your edited link is correct. You just need

ffmpeg and learn how to use it.
