It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the world’s first International Conference on Medical Varmalogy (Marma Chikitsa) named “Vethasatthi 2012″ is being organised in Coimbatore City, Tamil Nadu, India on 12-13 May 2012.

Varmam in Tamil is synonymous with Marma in Kerala. ‘Varmam’ denotes the subtle energy that circulates in the human body, performing an amazing array of vital physical and mental functions. It has been well understood and used to heal people in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, since at least the 5th Century A.D. ‘Vethasatthi’ is another name of ‘Varmam’.

The conference is being organised to bring to the world stage this hitherto hidden knowledge, to showcase the results obtained by modern-day registered medical practitioners using this science and to give you a first-hand taste of some of its techniques, through demonstrations by highly skilled experts.
