First of all: WOW, and WOW again! I just found your site as I was
doing some background research for using Google Earth to make thematic
maps.

I'm with the Education Policy and Data Center (www.epdc.org) a small
group in a non-profit organization, that focuses on making global
statistics on education more available and more interesting to look
at. One of our data-niches (is a large collection sub-national
education data. I was wondering whether your TME would be an
application that we could use to make thematic maps or layers on
Google Earth, if we were to find the polygons for the subnational
areas. Do you think one could? Or would one use another?

Hi Babette,

Happy that you liked the TME. Yes, you should be able to use TME for
sub-national education data. I've already used TME to map
municipalities in Norway (second administrative level):
