Mac Soulseek, large window that will not shrink to screen-size

I think someone may have posted about this a bit ago, but I have not seen the post for it since. 

When I open Soulseek the window comes up as a window I cannot shrink:

It appears that uninstalling and reinstalling Soulseek does not fix the problem.

Have you tried double-clicking on the long grey bar to the right of the 'Away' box?  That usually fixes the large window problem.

Hey sorry, it worked the first time but when I reopened it, it went back to the large window and will not shrink by double-clicking now.

Yeah, it started doing it on mine.  Tried Option-Clicking the green button but that didn't work.  I then tried manually resizing the Soulseek window to fit the screen of the Mac, and so far it's behaving itself.

Unless Nir has a solution, of course?

Have encountered this problem as well—double-clicking hasn't helped, nor can I re-size the window (can only expand it more...). Any tips or solutions would be great, cheers.

takes me awhile to figure out Options > General > Clear Search History.... the adjust it... close and open it..

this is true. must have copied a long search -- so the window adjusted to it. try clearing search history and quit the app. once you open it again you can resize it.
