We're using SkImageDecoder_CG on OSX for convenience (stock OSX not the new decoders).

Awhile ago we filed https://bugs.chromium.org/p/skia/issues/detail?id=3834&q=orientation&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20M%20Area%20Owner%20Summary and it was noted that Chrome/Webkit does it's own EXIF sniffing to detect JPG orientation.

Will the new Skia JPG decoder provide an orientation hint (or honor orientation)...the current one we're using does not.  Or does the new JPG decoder already do so?

Thanks,

Corey

We have not yet implemented it. We do plan to, but that bug is still up to date with our progress.
