Important: Mining Claims & Exploration

Perhaps some of you had heard of this already, but I had not until today. This is very concerning as the claims are being staked in many of our mountain biking & hiking areas. Some may live near these areas as well. (Despite the article's title, there are also claims that have been staked in the Little Walnut area apparently.)

I haven't had time to contact the Forest Service, but I plan to so that I can find out when/where public comments can be made.

The most important thing we can do as cyclists and supporters of public lands is sign the attached letter to the Forest Service. I encourage everyone to do so.
