THE SIERRA BILLBOARD
THE SIERRA BILLBOARD is a noticeboard for Sierra Leoneans and expatriates working in Sierra Leone.
The SIERRA BILLBOARD Gmail Newsletter Group was created as a successor to the closed Freetown_Announce Yahoo Group, after Yahoo chose to shut down all Yahoo Groups on December 15, 2020. It is thus intended to carry on with the great work that Freetown_Announce had done over the years for its over 2000+ active members.
Like its predecessor, the Sierra Billboard can be used to send and receive notices/advertisement: advertising events, job openings, housing needs, items for sale, and a lot more.
Joining the group is free and everyone can join. All messages are moderated before they are forwarded to members and on to the group's web-page.

It's only notices/advertisements that meet the guidelines listed below that can be approved:
1) Check and edit your message before posting.
2) Include an indication of price when trying to sell/rent something/offering a service. This will enable the recipient(s) to know whether they should contact you or not.
3) Include your contact details in the body of your message, including your email address where the recipient(s) SHOULD reply to.
All replies SHOULD be sent directly to the email address on the body of the message and NOT to the group’s email address.
