நிழல்பரவ வளர்மரமும் வெயில்தணிய வருமுகிலும்

… நிகரிலருள் அமுதும் நீயே

அழல்வளரும் நிறமுடைய அரனினொரு புறமுறையும்

… அரிவைஉமை சக்தி நீயே

அழகொளிரும் மதுரைநகர் அரசியென இசைவளரும்

… அங்கயற் கண்ணி தாயே!
