வேதியன் மகவே வேய்தோள் உருவே

வேல்விழி கனிவே வேரிப்பூ நறவே

வேட்டம் புகவே வேகுதடி நினைவே

வேரில்லா வாழ்வே வேண்டும் விடிவே

வேதியன் மகளே!! மூங்கில்போல் தோள் கொண்டவளே!!

வேல் விழிகளில் கனிவைக் கொண்டவளே!!

வேரிப்பூ நறுமணம் கொண்டவளே !!

உன்னை நினைக்கவே என் மனதில் காதல் வேட்கை புகுகிறது.

அந்த வேட்கையால் உடல் வேகிறது.

வேரில்லாமல் இருக்கும் மரம்போல் உயிரில்லாமல் உள்ளதடி வாழ்க்கை.     இதற்கு விடிவே கிடையாதா!!
