There was also a deployment in Bihar State, India, in 2008, following flooding.

Currently there is activity in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, India, to deploy Sahana, led by the IBMers who worked on the Bihar deployment last year. However that is work in progress and not yet a deployment.

Thank You Rebecca for confirming about Bihar 2008 floods and the recent ongoing ones in India AP/Karnataka. I was going to post them back.
On that note, Sunil Raghvan got in touch suggesting, the Karnataka deployment could use a localised version of Sahana in Kannada, for which I have sent shout outs to l10n list and guys from the Indic team, so if anyone of you who could help out with it do let us know.
