That's a lot of LAGO for the year! I normally don't sort through goldfinch flocks looking for a LAGO but that has changed, especially since I intentionally went out looking for one in the flock on the day I found it, and there it was. Not easy to ID a juvenile/female LAGO and I actually made the ID from my photos (and Frank Lospalluto's nod of the head) not even realizing what it was for sure when I saw it. I only saw it the one time and a more knowledgeable birder said they move around a lot... one day with the flock and the next day who knows where. But, like you, I keep looking now.
