Issues installing ROS on NAO v4

Hi all,

I'm trying to install ROS on my Nao v4 (SDK 1.14.5). I'm following the guide posted here. Unfortunately it seems I have encountered a few issues. 
 
In particular, after running 
sudo robotpkgin install nao-robot
 
I got the following error:

pkg_install warnings: 0, errors: 11
pkg_install error log can be found in /opt/openrobots/var/db/pkgin/pkg_install-err.log

So it seems some packages didn't get installed. Is the guide updated or I'm skipping some steps?

I'm not sure, I do not understand why robotpkgin does not find lz4 or ros-comm-msgs...

Hi Anthony,

I've tried to run a full-upgrade -> autoremove -> remove nao-robot ->
install nao-robot again all in verbose mode, but it seems the core
messages still don't get built and I don't see any particularly
informative message regarding the issue in the installation output.

I've attached the file you requested.

Alright, so:

* I've wiped my V4 Nao doing a factoring reset and installing opennao 1.14.5 again.
Then I've run:

    1  ls
    2  su -c 'sed -i "s|#allow user nao to shutdown the robot|nao     ALL=(ALL) ALL\n&|" /etc/sudoers'
    4  sudo emerge log4cxx netifaces pyyaml poco apr apr-util
    5  sudo etc-update
    6  sudo emerge log4cxx netifaces pyyaml poco apr apr-util
    7  sudo robotpkgin install nao-robot
      8     source .bash_profile 
    9  roscore
   10  history


roscore returned the same error I previously had:

Hi Anthony,

re-installing ros-comm-msgs actually did fix the problem! Maybe there
is an issue with the nao-robot package itself?
