Maybe "The Cuhulin" when to pay a nice long

Maybe "The Cuhulin" took Blueberry Doggy for a

MSN is dropping WebTV, and "offering an upgrade" to WebTV customers. I
always love when MS arbitrarily drops support for longstanding applications
(like they did to Outlook/Outlook Express, when they decided to pretty much
force LiveMail on us.) So Larry really won't have a choice whether or not
to ditch his WebTV.

Yep, MSN loves us so much, they don't give a crap about us anymore.

There is one reason WebTV is still around, and I know why because
somebody who really does know once posted why, in one of the WebTV
newsgroups a few years ago.

WebTV 128 bit encryption. When WebTV first came out, it was illegal to
take a WebTV box out of U.S.A.

They've been soft-pedaling WebTV for about 12 years now. I had an
original Dishplayer 7100 powered by WebTV. It was a combination WebTV
internet device and DishNetwork satellite receiver and a digital video
recorder. The whole mess was built by JVC and Echostar. One really cool
feature was you could put TV screen captures into emails really easily.

It was the first DVR to have mass distribution. That's why I got it. It
broke down frequently and every time they sent me a replacement I got a
new wireless keyboard. I have 3 or 4 of them somewhere.

Before I started using two tv sets, one for WebTV and the other one for
DirecTV, I used to send tv screen captures (mostly local tv) with emails
to that married Irish woman wayyyyyy over yonder across the big pond.I
can still do that if I connect a cable from my DirecTV set to my WebTV
tv set.

I pull up my WebTV Options panel now and click on the PIP and what I see
is a PIP blue screen.I can move that PIP to the top left or top right or
the bottom left or the bottom right, wherever I want it on my WebTV
screen.

No. Haiti is on a very active fault that has huge earthquakes a lot.

"Despite recent seismic quiescence, Haiti has suffered similar
devastating earthquakes in the historical past (1701, 1751, 1770 and
1860). Despite this knowledge of historical seismicity, Haiti had no
seismograph stations during the main earthquake, so it is impossible to
estimate accurately the intensity of ground motions. Nonetheless, the
wide range of buildings damaged by the January 12, 2010, earthquake
suggests that the ground motions contained seismic energy over a wide
range of frequencies. Another earthquake of similar magnitude could
strike at any time on the eastern end of the Enriquillo Fault, directly
to the south of Port-au-Prince. Reconstruction must take this hazard
into account."

How about a 3G Netbook? Verizon is giving them away aren't they?

Do you have an HDTV? You can get a Roku standalone webstream device
for $60, and a Netflix account for $8 and watch old movies on demand.
Put an antenna on the roof for WLBT Channel 3. You'll need a DSL Elite
(3-6 Mbps) connection for about $35 a month and a $50 router. Oh, and a
TV antenna WLBT is now UHF so even a crummy bowtie on top of the
bookcase would probably work.
