Deck Name : Turbo Nkule
Author : The Lasombra
Description :
Nkule Galadima reveals his ability to control the Kine when equipped
with the Reliquary: Akunanse

Remains. The Force of his Will truly Dares the Dawn.

Ideal turn:

Nkule Galadima equips with Reliquary: Akunanse Remains and gets +1
bleed and +1 capacity.
Freak Drive. (8-1=7 blood)
Equip with Soul Gem.
Freak Drive. (7-1=6 blood)
Call Kine Resources Contested.
Play Awe (6-5=1 blood) , 9 votes in favor
Play Force of Will (1-1=0 blood, +1 aggravated damage) to bleed for 4.
Play Daring the Dawn (0 blood, +2 aggravated damage)

Nkule burns, with the Soul Gem revealing another Nkule.

Hi

There are quite a few problems with this deck.

1. You have no stealth, any action can be blocked easily and one
combat could end your game especially if you didnt manage to equip the
gem.

2. I'm pretty sure even if you pass all your votes, you barely kill
one prey with the damage you're putting, knowing that you need to call
a vote for your turbo to work.

3. Delaying tactics and direct intervention end your turn
"unsuccessfully".

4. if you reduce the size of your deck, you can remove the scrouning.

I once built a turbo lucita, which in the same spirit is more
effective than this, because you bleed for 6, you have stealth and you
create embraces, leaving you with a plan B. Same with the Baron turbo,
you end the combo with many vampires, leaving you with solutions in
case the combo didn't work as planned.

Here's Antonio Cobo-Cuenca's version of my Amavi Turbo deck :

15 Amavi

3 Dreams of the Sphinx

11 Reliquary: Akunanse Remains
7 Soul Gem of Etrius
11 Force of Will
9 Embrace, The
3 Scrounging
9 Dual Form

11 Daring the Dawn
15 Freak Drive
6 Aire of Elation
2 Devil-Channel: Throat

3 Robert Carter .

Instead of playing Kine Resource Contested, you just get a Robert
Carter.

Agreed.

Incorrect. Vote + (Force of Will+Reliquary bleed of 4) every time
thru the cycle is the damage plan. The votes are incidental, and are
designed to take the place of the Embrace, etc. to reduce the blood on
Nkule.

Arika did the same thing and took 11 VP in the first three rounds of a
tournament, and none of her votes did damage. See also:

>3. Delaying tactics and direct intervention end your turn

True. Some turns will end due to the status of your hand, anyway. If
the Delaying Tactics is played after the Awe, you don't have a
problem. That's one of the reason there is such diversity in the
Nkule vote deck.

Playing it against tournament players in a European environment is not
recommended. Playing it against players exploring the limits of the
game is recommended.

>4. if you reduce the size of your deck, you can remove the scrouning.

I don't know that I agree. Being able to get rid of the Soul Gems has
been very powerful in practice.

The plan B is very good, the Embraces caried the day on Saturday
against a procurer recruiting predator.

I am still not a fan of the Dual Form in this deck. Adding another
action to jam your hand in a deck extremely dependent on its ability
to flow thru your cards continuously seems a disasterous plan.

Robert Carter only adds 1 blood removed. With the Nkule/Arika Turbo
decks you have Awe to adjust your blood to the precise amount
required.
