Uh, pepe provides 10x the substance pickle does. 9 times out of 10 you
open a pickle post and there's absolutely nothing there. If pepe has a
fault, it's responding endlessly to all the empty attacks against him,
most of which come from pickle (this thread being a prime example).

Pepe has been quite on form recently, IMO.

And you have nothing else to say but defending an empty head, like
pickle?

Shame on you Paul.

Maybe Pickle doesn't provide a lot of substance because he knows how
futile it is when there are so many stupid people on RGP, LIKE PEPE!

Where did I say any of that? No to all your questions, but does that
mean there's no shitty places to live on this continent? We're talking

When you hear the word "classy" in general conversation, as I'm sure you
have hundreds of times in your life, do you generally have to stop and
ask what it means? Just answer the question, please. Do you consider
yourself to have more class than the type of people I described?

Nice picures, but let's try to keep it real. Remember the Jena 6? The
noose hanging from the tree? The racially biased prosecution? Did you

what we're talking about here.

Do you consider yourself more classy than people who live off roadkill

So what did you mean when you said, for one example:

"I would agree - however Morph shows the same amount of class. Classy
is as classy does."

Do you frequently use words twice in one sentence when you have no idea
what they represent? Or are you just a gigantic hypocrite like brewmaster?

Uh, I said it's *not* surprising.

However, if you really believe you are closer to nature living in some
God-forsaken corner the California desert than you are living in
Southwest British Columbia, then you are in dire need of a third grade
geography lesson. Vancouverites have immediate access to some of the
best outdoor recreational opportunities in the world. That's one big
reason why the city is consistently ranked among the most desirable
places in the world in which to live, year after year after year.

As far as fewer people goes, I have a feeling your self-imposed
isolation (and the selfishness that goes along with it) probably
contributed significantly to your substance abuse problems. You might
want to work on that. Try to start caring about people. You'll be a
better, happier, more stable person for the effort.

Reality check over.

*A* top choice in North America, yes, definitely. Is there really any
serious question about that?? I have never suggested it's *the* top
choice. I don't think such a thing exists for all people.

Of course, none of that means I can't reasonably conclude that Malibu,
California is a much nicer place to live than Bumfuk, Louisiana.

I know this will come as a shock to you because you are pretty much an
economic illiterate, but there are very good reasons why a property that
costs $5 million in Malibu or West Vancouver costs 100k in Bumfuk and
200k in Chicago, and much of it boils down to the overall desirability
of location, location, location.

>and should be the one that all people strive for.

Absolutely false. I would never counsel someone to strive for goals they
cannot possibly attain. That is cruel. I *have* encouraged mo to pursue
his dreams of moving to predominately white Utah, because I think that
is where he'd be more comfortable, and it's probably within his
financial capabilities if he works hard and saves his subway tokens. In
contrast, I would never counsel someone like bub to dream much beyond
the boundaries of his trailer park.

It is passing judgment. You are putting every 27 year old in the US in

Actually, I think I have claimed to be smarter than most people over the
years, in various conversations. I admitted I scored above the 95th
percentile on the LSAT, remember? I said I had a 3.9 undergrad GPA. I
said I was a successful lawyer. I think it's fair to say that is
claiming by implication that I am smarter than most people.

Not that that is anything to be proud of. I was totally born that way. I
had nothing to do with it. By the time I was in kindergarten it was very

By the time I started kindergarten I already knew how to read and write
at a fourth or fifth grade level. It was a bit weird, to say the least.
My mom thought the first day of school was supposed to be special, so
she sent me dressed in a three piece business suit and carrying a
kid-size leatherette briefcase. She got a call that day from the
principal, telling her it really wasn't necessary to dress me for
kindergarten like a Fortune 500 executive. haha...true story. God rest
her soul.

I remember being SO gung ho for that first day to come, but when my mom
dropped me off that first day for some reason I started to cry. The
teacher gave me this wooden jigsaw puzzle to calm me down. I'll never
forget it. It was of a cartoon duck holding an umbrella, and it
consisted of about six pieces. It took me about two seconds to solve,
and I remember thinking to myself, "What the fuck is this? They've put
me in with a bunch of retards! And why am I the only one wearing a suit?"
