Noted from discussion elsewhere: Google's "Google Groups" interface
has stopped feeding posts out to Usenet. So if you post through there,
only other people using Google Groups will see the posts.

(For example, I had no idea there was a "TADS3 newb help" thread until
I looked at http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.int-fiction/topics .)

There's no way to tell whether this is temporary or permanent, or (for
that matter) deliberate or a bug. So, just be aware of it.

Google Groups? Ah, you mean the thing that killed Usenet :-/

Best I can figure, Google Groups killed Usenet five-ish years after
the point where Usenet would have died without Google Groups. Or
something. It's not an easy history to analyze, even without getting
into the question of what "the death of Usenet" means.

Oh, look, they're showing up again.

They like to say, Hello, hello, I'm the one who reads you so...
