yes, in the sense that it's normal in that demo: the three.js json
assets used for the web client in the physics2 demo just don't have a
material defined.
is just a bit incomplete that way, and iirc we were also a little wary
about adding too much data files to the code repo.
probably would be good to fix anyhow by putting a copy of the texture
there and adding the material definition to the mesh json.
