For those who are joining for the 2pm ride, and in case you didn't see the update on the rides page on the site:

I will be BART-ing in to SF Embarcadero a little after 1:00pm and will be at the Ferry Building by around 1:40, take-off at 2:00. Look for the single top tube green Hunqapillar, closer to the Gott's end of the Ferry Building (left side if looking at the front). I may need to run in for a an iced coffee and waffle at blue bottle before take off :)

Slightly modified route, a few minutes/miles longer but all flat miles ;)

Hey Dave. Look for Dominic to hook up with you guys at the Ferry Building. My friend, Tom, and I will intercept you all at Golden Gate Bridge. We'll be there around 2:30.

Also, we may break off after Mill Valley and go around vs. over Camino Alto using some side roads and the bike path tunnel thing into san rafael.

Awesome. I'll assume you'll be at the SF side of the bridge at the base? I'm not specifically tied to that route so if you know a better way after Mill Valley I'm totally open to that too.

Here's my count so far:

Andrew J

Esteban

Clayton

Adam

Dominic

Richard and two others? May leave at 1

Lee and Tom at GG @ 2:30

Awesome, thanks - I might just make it out of here soon and catch you
guys. I am BARTing over shortly to Embarcadero and I'll keep an eye
open.

Grant + Jenny + other staff??? are taking the boat ride (Anne's?) -
Rivendell Nautical Detachment? at noontime+. I think Rivsters Lesnik
Sean, and Will are riding at some time similar?

Lomita after Mill Valley cuts across to the road along 101, up over Horse Hill, then down into Corte Madera. Should be easier than Camino Alto, especially for us with single gears. I'm still pushing through homework here, don't wait for me at 2:00.

That option sounds good to me.

Also note, for anyone taking BART, Giants game starts at 1pm, will be crowded on the trains.

Cool we can figure out en route. Esteban is stuck in traffic on I5 right now. He said not to wait around but I can update near 2pm. Dominic has my cell # btw.

Thanks Andrew. That's our plan, too. I'll be single speeding it and I think Esteban, as well.

Hey all,

Thanks for the ride! Had a blast.
Thanks for coffee, beer, and phone lending, and especially the company.
A lot more pink on the way home! Hope you had a pleasant ride back.

See you out there,
Clayton

Dave, thanks for setting this one up. It was a lot of fun to ride with all y'all, dodging tourists and men in pink tutus, for 'bout 30 miles on the QB. Sunday morning, I took the Larkspur ferry home with the 9:30 crew, that was fun, too.

And why wait another 20 years? Ent-MOOT should be an annual event, at least for one big S24O in July. Given a few more, I might get caught up on people's names and their bikes...

Awesome to ride with everyone there and back, good times. Thanks for the intro to the tunnel route in Larkspur. And also to helping me decide that a QB will be the next bike. Camping with the entire crew (how many people were there all in all, 40?) was also very awesome. Met some really cool people. Made me even more glad to own a Rivendell (and live near Rivendell)!

Agreed on the yearly summer S240. Now that I have the bike and some gear to do it, I would definitely like to get out for more S240's, anytime. I may try and do a point reyes and mt. diablo this year since I haven't before. Will post to the board to see who is interested when the time comes. If anyone goes let me know, would love to join. Same for weekend rides.

Nice riding with all of you, and finally getting to put faces to names. I loved that there were four Quickbeams in our group of seven. Dave, thanks for organizing the rollout. Hope to ride with you all again.
