It wasn't really a call for an immediate ride but a suggestion for a near-term future event. Since the first job of any ride leader is to "just pick a goddamned date already", I'll work on that.

I'm not a Portlander but my daughter recently moved to the Eastside from Walla Walla.  Depending upon the date and route specifics I'd be interested.  I'd need some lead time to allow for coordination with my wife and daughter.  I'd either drive down from Olympia the day before or take Amtrak.  Please keep us posted.

Okay let me rehash this since it's been a few weeks. I'm thinking about taking a tour in September so I have two free Saturdays:

9/7 or 9/28. Sunday 9/29 works for me too.

Sadly I'll be back at work by then and am scheduled to work that weekend. 

I should be riding this Sunday, 9/8, in the morning--10am to 12:30 or so. If anyone is interested in meeting up for a ride let me know.

Last Sunday Andy and I met up for a ride and Michael Williams from SF and this list made a surprise appearance. We had another fun ride up to Skyline and dipped into Washington County.
