I'm selling a used Rivendell Atlantis.  56cm.  26" Wheels.  Serial No. AT0055 (or 6).

I'm asking $1,400.

Bought new in 2000.  Used as a commuter and tourer:  paint shows it (nicks, chain rub, dirt, etc).  Never crashed, rides great.

A friend of mine bought an Atlantis in the Bay Area, sight unseen.  He worked with the seller to take the bike to Rivendell, they pronounced it sound & my friend paid Rivendell to pack & ship it to him.  So the seller had little additional effort, my friend felt confident in the bike and it was packed according to Rivendell's standards.

Good luck to buyer & seller on this one.

I've got one nagging detail to resolve before I can commit, and it isn't the lovely Mrs. Pondero who has already endorsed this project.  Hopefully, I can get that done today and be one step closer to an Atlantis in my stable.

I'm bumping this on Ryan's behalf, since I've taken myself out of the running for this great deal.

That nagging detail mentioned in my last post was a standing offer to buy a friend's Atlantis if/when he wanted to sell it.  He had recently hinted that he was about ready to do so, and I needed to contact him first.  As it turns out, he is ready to sell and has proposed a partial bike sale that fits my needs perfectly.  I need to follow through with that approach.

So Ryan's excellent deal is still out there and I encourage someone to step up and take advantage of it.
