Unfortunately the Google Voice API isn't freely available for usage anymore (since v2) and v3 is expected to be completely closed. They are currently exposing it in a limited fashion for the sake of chromium developers.

However, wit.ai uses "several" engines, and Google voice has been part of that list. So if they have a way of using it, this benefit will trickle down the stack to our services.
