asRules function - why doesn't it list rules numbering 1.,2 3 etc. instead I got 4,9, 130 (non consecutive rules numbering)

The rule numbers correspond to the leaf node numbers of the tree, not a sequential numbering. All nodes in the tree have numbers so the leaf node numbers are a subset of the node numbers.
