Very interesting interview with Allen Lim, PhD on nutrition while riding.
Lim is the nutritionist for the Shack and other pro teams:

His key points include:
- We're each an experiment of one
- Eat 1/2 your caloric hourly burn rate every hour
- Real food is better
- Stay hydrated
- Sodium is critical

I'm a relative newbie to our sport and get lots of nausea after 300 k
or so. What I find to work best is Ensure Plus and I drank about 25
or so 8 oz bottles of the milk chocolate variety on PBP. It worked
real well. What do you think of this approach?

Is there an app out there that will allow the Iphone to work like a
Garmin (be able to upload gpx files to the iphone) and give you turn
by turn directions?
I'm trying to decide if I need to spend another chunk of change on a
Garmin 800 or if I can accomplish the same thing with my Iphone.
