prediction seems to retrain...

Hi,

First of all: Thank you very much for making the regression part of RF
available in this great software!

I'm using the tool to both train models and using these models to
predict new datasets.
However, (and please correct me it I'wrong) It seems that in
prediction mode (-P) the model is induced again on the data provided
in the -f flag. Why is this? It seems the model is not read from the
supplied XML file....

The model is saved in the XML file. Therefore, if you want to predict new data, provided with -f, with the saved model you must provide data again. The XML file contains no data and if you use -P no new forest is grown: the saved XML forest is now used.
