I am looking at getting a run of the radioberry preamp board run. At this time it is a small run but if there is more interest I might be able to do a larger run. My plan is to have the run of only the surface mounted components so there will be some assembly required. Let me know if anyone is interested.

If anyone does a run of Radioberry pre-amp boards, I would be interested in being added to the list to receive one.  Do you know an approximate cost yet?  73, Ron, n6ywu

I'd like one, too. I will, of course, pay the shipping cost to Europe in advance.

Kurt,
Has anything more happened on this project? Would love to get the PreAmp board for the self-contained RB I'm presently building...

I know it has been a while since I have put out info. I have been rather busy traveling for work and I apologize for the delays. The company I was working with was giving me trouble with sourcing parts and well I jumped ship and went with another company, amazingly this only took 3-4 days to get ironed out. I have figured the cost to be around $75 USD +Shipping. These boards will be kitted so there are some components you will have to mount yourself and are as follows;

Description
Part Number     Sub OK     Designators                    Footprint     Pins     Quantity

Power
PJ-102AH              Y            CN101                             Custom          3              1

2x5 M 0.1in
67997-410HLF      Y            DB203                             Custom        10              1

20 Pin Header
     76342-310LF         Y            JP201                              2x10             20              1

Relay
                     EC2-3NU                Y            K301                                Custom        10              1

SMA Straight
       5-1814832-2         Y            RF301,RF302,RF303      Custom          5              3

4:1 RF Tformer
    B62152A4X30      Y            T301                                 Custom         4               1

T301 you will also have to make yourself, the kit will include the wire and core. I will also add assembly instructions. The lead time on manufacture is 30 days plus shipping from the time I place the order. These boards will be untested so it will also be up to you to make them function. These are Johan Maas's design and he gets all the credit, all I am doing is putting together and fronting the cost to have the surface mount components placed on the board. I did add a small mark up to cover my kitting costs. This run will be 30 pieces, Johan gets first pick if he would like, and 2 of them I will claim for myself. The rest will be first come first served. I you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks & 73s

I may be interested but I have a few questions.
The wiki does not say much. Where can I find more like schematics, build and setup instructions, ...
I also found a pdf named Radioberry_PreAmp_measurements which uses an intermediate board named RF-AMP using OPA-2677 and I am confused.
When do you take orders?

Hi,

>  I also found a pdf named Radioberry_PreAmp_measurements which uses an intermediate board named RF-AMP using OPA-2677 and I am confused.

The OPA2677 RF-AMP is not required in the pre-stage of the PreAmp.
In the document, the RF-AMP was necessary because of the Radioberry board modification experiment also.

PS:
Great work  Kurt!!! and thanks for your efforts in making the Preamp kit.
The Radioberry Preamp board is a smart and nice QRP HF 5W Amplifire.
Also thanks to Johan and Radioberry Group, HL2 Group, all the amazing work !

Thanks Yado-san. I had no idea the Radioberry was different from the current one. I re-read the pdf and noticed that the output of the Radioberry was stated at 4 dBm which is 2 mW while the current version is 20 mW and can directly drive the Pre-Amp.

I'll take a kit if they are still available.

Why not call this "Preamplifier" a"5 Watt PA", the word pre-amplifier usually refers to a receive amplifier in between the aerial and receiver input.

So rather confusing
