I recently tried to install the INLA package using R version 3.1.2 that I have on my computer. However, it says that the package is not available in this version (or I'm assuming later versions of R either). Are there plans to make this available in later versions of R or is this just a problem on my computer?

Please see
for installation instructions. The package is too complex to be on CRAN,  but can be easily installed from its own repositories.

I have the same issue here. After I try to install according to the INLA download page I get

Warning: unable to access index for repository https://www.math.ntnu.no/inla/R/stable/src/contrib
  unsupported URL scheme
Warning message:
package ‘INLA’ is not available (for R version 3.2.5)

With differnet server it was

Warning: unable to access index for repository https://www.math.ntnu.no/inla/R/stable/src/contrib
Warning message:
package 'INLA' is not available (for R version 3.1.1)

Those are both old versions of R.  It should work if you update (mine is R 3.3.1).

Either way, I tried to install INLA onto my Mac at home and I don't seem to be able to install it. I could use my work PC, but I wanted to be able to work at home.

Thank you.

Any guess when it might become accessible again?
