Hi all!

Here are the announcements for April:

  • Our single-cell RNAseq app is integrated into the NCI GDC portal: Users can access GDC single-cell RNAseq results including tSNE/UMAP plots, overlay expression level of genes of interest, generate violin to compare gene expression across Seurat clusters, and browse differentially expressed genes based on Seurat clusters. Access the app on GDC at https://portal.gdc.cancer.gov/analysis_page?app=scRNAseq

  • Whole slide image viewer is adapted to display pathology slides from GDC: This is a proof of concept and allows users to browse imaging data for a small set of cancer samples from GDC. The image data (tiles) are retrieved on the fly from GDC API, leveraging our recent improvements to the TIAToolbox library. Try out this new feature at https://proteinpaint.stjude.org/?appcard=wsi

All of our software changes are noted in CHANGELOG.md, available from github

As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or feedback through the group. Thank you for using ProteinPaint!

Take care,

ProteinPaint Team
