Please note that the Tax PB - 5 % should be calculated on the Gross Amount shown on the ticket and not the Gross Amount collected.

 

This should clarify the queries raised with respect to Tickets issued under APW and TAC.

ALL AGENTS,

It has come to our notice that some stations are applying 5 % on "Base Fare"
and not on the "Gross Amount" as advised.

1. Please ensure that 5 % is collected on the "Gross Amount" i.e. Fare
plus taxes/ charges in order to avoid any short collection.

2. With reference to free tickets issued under Award Plus Scheme, since 5 %
applies on "Gross Fare" it should be calculated on the amount collected i.e.
fare, if any and taxes.

Please inform all concerned for compliance.
