Hi all,

As mentioned in another thread [1], I concluded that we have two projects that are no longer active projects. I've publicly announced this intent to call for expulsion two weeks ago. Before publicly naming these projects, I have tried to contact the Representatives in private a couple of times over the last 6 months.

Before I call for votes, I'm starting a final opportunity for discussion, which I will keep open for a week.

eZ Systems has been taken over by Ibexa and as a result eZ Publish is no longer an active product as such. The current PR André Rømcke has left eZ Systems/Ibexa and confirmed he is no longer in a position to be the Project's Representative. I have reached out to Ibexa but did not get any response.

Stormpath PHP SDK is no longer an active product. I've tried to contact Brian Retterer but did not get any response.

Ideally we wouldn't have to solve this situation with a vote and the respective Member Projects would either resign themselves or appoint a new Representative. I welcome any feedback and would also appreciate any help to get more clarity on the matter.

Unless new information is presented or contact is re-established, I will call for individual Expulsion votes next week.

Kind regards,
Vincent de Lau

Just a heads up for everyone: I've just called for Expulsion Votes for eZ Systems and Stormpath PHP SDK. This is in no way a judgement on the respective projects, their representative, and what they have contributed to the FIG and the PHP community at large. I was hoping that we could solve this differently. However, after trying for half a year, I did not manage to get in contact with these two projects.

Kind regards,
Vincent de Lau

Sorry for the late closure, but voting ended almost two weeks ago. I'm closing and tallying all votes in this thread. Some Project votes were cast in the CC thread, I've counted those in the proper place.

For eZ Publish: From the Core Committee there were 10 votes, all in favor. Quorum is reached. From the Project Representatives there were 10 votes, all in favor. Quorum is not required. The vote has passed and eZ Publish is no longer a Member Project.

For Stormpath PHP SDK: From the Core Committee there were 9 votes, all in favor. Quorum is reached. From the Project Representatives there were 10 votes, all in favor. Quorum is not required. The vote has passed and Stormpath PHP SDK is no longer a Member Project.

I will ask the secretaries to make the required changes. I would like to extend my thanks to eZ Publish and Stormpath PHP SDK for their past contributions to the FIG.

Kind regards,
Vincent de Lau
