Hi all,

Some months ago, I was browsing the personnel [1] page and noticed that there is some outdated information in there. Likewise, some projects haven't voted on anything for a long time.

I'd like to ask all Member Projects to review their information on the personnel page and make sure that the current Project Representative is still able to represent your Project. See the bylaws [2] for more details.Simple changes can be submitted as a PR to the fig-standards repository [3].

If you need any help or have further questions, don't hesitate to contact me or a Secretary. For more discrete conversations, feel free to email me directly, or DM me on Discord (user @vdelau).

Kind regards,

A kind reminder for all Member Projects to review their information. So far, I have identified three Member Projects for which the information for sure is outdated. I have already contacted those projects directly, but got almost no response.

- eZ Systems has been taken over by Ibexa and as a result eZ Publish is no longer an active product as such. The current PR André Rømcke has left eZ Systems/Ibexa and confirmed he is no longer in a position to be the PR. I have reached out to Ibexa but did not get any response. If we receive no further input from Ibexa, I will request an expulsion vote in two weeks.
- Icicle is deprecated. As far as I understood, efforts have been redirected to AMPHP. I've tried to reach Aaron Trowski but did not get any response. I'd like AMPHP to take Icicle's place as a member project, but if we get no feedback I will request an expulsion vote in two weeks.
- Stormpath PHP SDK is no longer an active product. I've tried to contact Brian Retterer but did not get any response. Ideally they would resign as a member project by themselves. If not, I will request an expulsion vote in two weeks.

Hi All,

Apologies, it seems my junk mail filter was moving Vincent's messages to my junk folder and I overlooked them. Luckily his last made it through.

Yes, I would very much like to transfer Icicle's membership to AMPHP. As you've seen, Icicle has been deprecated for some time. All development efforts have been toward AMPHP since about 2017. You could view the current version of AMPHP as a merging of Icicle and AMPHP, so hopefully we can do a simple rename. Let me know what else I may need to do.

Cheers,

Aaron Piotrowski

Hi Aaron,

Good to hear from you!

The bylaws do not really address member projects evolving, being renamed or merging with other projects. Based on what you've just explained, my proposal would be to simply rename the Membership to AMPHP. I would like to ask the Secretaries to confirm and change the project name from Icicle to AMPHP.

On Discord, Secretaries Alessandro and Mark indicated that a simple rename should be fine [1].

I've created a PR to rename Icicle into AMPHP: https://github.com/php-fig/fig-standards/pull/1309

On Discord we had a short conversation about changing Twitter links on the personnel page with Mastodon, Github or other profile pages. To avoid having a lot of individual pull requests and potential merge conflict, I've opened a pull request where people can comment or 'code review' their desired changes to the personnel page: https://github.com/php-fig/fig-standards/pull/1310

I intend to finalize this PR in a week or so and have it merged and published.

Hi all,

Tomorrow I'll finalize the pull request [1] with modifications to the personnel contact details (replacing Twitter with Mastodon or other links). Anyone wishing to tag along, please let me know what to change today!
