WHAT'S GROWING THIS SEASON?

It's that time again! We're in the midst of planning another amazing 2-day conference in January where Oregon's farm to school community comes together to learn, share, and celebrate. This year, we want YOUR help making it happen. Join our Conference Planning Committee and help with logistics, promotion, and activity development that ensures everything runs smoothly. Whether you're great at organizing, spreading the word, or hands-on event coordination, we need your skills. Applications due July 31st.

POLICY PATCH

$11.3 Million Victory + What We're Still Fighting For

The Oregon Legislature funded our Farm to School Grant program with $11.3 million over the next two years. This means grants for local food procurement, garden education, equipment, and technical assistance will continue supporting schools statewide. However, this wasn't an easy legislative session. We're disappointed that programs supporting food hubs, disaster preparedness for producers, and School Meals for All didn't make it across the finish line. These programs create the resilient food system that farm to school depends on.

We'll keep fighting for these critical supports – will you join us?

SPECIAL HARVEST

Mark your calendar!

Crunch At Once is happening on Thursday, October 23rd

Get ready for our statewide collective crunch! On October 23rd, schools across Oregon will bite into locally-grown fruits and vegetables to celebrate the importance of local food and agriculture. It's simple, fun, and connects kids to Oregon farms.
