Class 8/14: Food Preservation/Solar cooking


In this survey of food preservation techniques, we will discuss:

  • Water bath canning
  • Lacto-fermentation basics
  • Solar and electric food drying
  • Solar cooking

We will also sample some delicious home-made preserves!

Thursday, August 14, 6-8:30 pm

Blueberry Learning Farm, Cully neighborhood, NE Portland.  Frequent service on Trimet #75. Off-street bike parking available.
