Ponsonby - The marriage took place on Saturday, July 17, at St Martin's
Church, Sandford St Martin, Oxfordshire, between Thomas Astor and Lucy
Ponsonby.
Thomas David b 1987 s of George David ASTOR b 1958 (gs of Lt-Col 1st Baron ASTOR OF HEVER 1886-1971) and Marianne Piroska Julia 1958-2019 d of John Hurleston LECHE 1933-89, scion of that gentry family of Carden by his 1958 m (the Times 15 Feb) to Piroska Daisy 1934-2005 d of Ernest MENCZER of Cairo, Egypt.
Lucy India Clare b 1991 d of Luke Arthur PONSONBY b 1957 (s of Sir Ashley Charles Gibbs PONSONBY 2nd Bt 1921-2010, gs of 6th Marquess of ORMONDE 1893-1971 and gt gs of 1st Baron HUNSDON 1854-1935 etc etc) and Nicola Jane b 1960 d of Gen Sir Roland Kelvin GUY GCB CBE DSO 1928-2005 and (Auriel) Dierdre GRAVES MORRIS.
