From the Telegraph & Times of 27 Jan 2022: HUNT Lady Meriel died peacefully at
home on 23rd January 2022, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Sir
Nicholas Hunt and much loved mother of Jeremy, Sarah, Charles and
Susanna and grandmother of nine. Funeral Service at St James Church,
Shere at 11 a.m. on 8th February. No flowers but donations welcome for
the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre... Enquiries to J. Gorringe & Son

She was d of Major Henry Cooke GIVAN 1895-1970 of the Isle of Wight by his 1933 m reg Q2 London to Louise Joyce RILEY 1901-71. She m 1966 Adm Sir Nicholas John Streynsham HUNT GCB LVO RN 1930-2013 (see link below for his ancestry) and had two sons (incl former Cabinet minister and Tory leadership leader Jeremy - see link below) and a dau as above.
